Peachy Keen

Watching Parker devour a peach today reminded me of his toddler days.

When he was about 10 months old and crawling,

he discovered a big box of Utah peaches on the floor.

He would crawl over to the box and stuff his chubby little fingers

through the holes and pull out a bit of peach to chew on.

I discovered a lot of holes in my peaches that year.

He still goes crazy over them! Add a little whipped cream and dessert is served!

Bad News: Brad had to spend the weekend in corporate training.

Good News: Brad won a new I-Pad2 AND a week-long trip to Panama City, Florida.

The Good News is WAY better than the Bad News!

Brad says I should get rid of all colored dishware in the house.

You know what I'm talking about!

The standard fight ensued the other morning.

I began handing out the bowls to the kids not paying any attention to who gets what when I hear Anna proclaim in the whine only a 3 year old can perfect, "But I ALWAYS get the small blue and green bowl!" Oh boy, here we go... But Grant takes care of it himself, "No, Anna. You ALMOST always!"

This is how Grant emerged from his bath this evening.

Apparently he rinses his hair by bending over and dipping

his head in the bath water.

It's sort of a Downward Dog approach.

Isn't it amazing what your kids will do for SOMEONE ELSE?

Swimming lessons are another case in point why I'll never homeschool!
