JuLights, Part One

We had the most fabulous July.  I took the kids on a trek out west and the whole journey lasted about 2 1/2 weeks.  I was not nervous about the drive; I am used to it and actually like kind of like it.

I did have a little mishap with the car right outside of Denver.  I was driving along the highway when my horn just started blaring and would not stop.  EMBARRASSING!!!  Everyone was staring at me and, finally, a nice man helped me pull the fuse to the horn.

The kids think the best part about traveling is staying at a hotel - especially if it has a pool and a breakfast.  "You mean I can have a donut AND a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich?  YESSS!!!"

We got back on the road and headed up through Wyoming and on to Idaho.  We stopped in Jackson Hole for a bit.

Here are the kids at one of the antler arches on the main square.  This picture cracks me up because it looks like one from my own childhood - the days when we could not see how bad the pic was and delete it and try again.  haha.
