Days of Summer

We've mostly been hanging out at home this summer.
Here's what it has looked like:

Reading on the couch

Baking

Trips to the library

Sweet Eats at Sams Club

Dressing up

Play-Dough

Construction Projects

Fun at the Pool

Grumpy Faces

I have enjoyed having the kids at home, just being chill, and enjoying each other.  There has been a fair share of fighting but I am happy for the time together.

1,2,3 Jump

Sometimes we get to hang out with the Zepf Family and we love it.
Especially this lovely lady!

SuperMa'am

My girls have been relentless in playing with these capes that Sarah made for my boys some years ago. Abby comes flying through the room yelling,
"I'm SuperMa'am!"

Back to the Park

After the morning in Little Rock the rain cleared out and we drove back to the park.

On the porch in front of the cabin.

We walked down to the lookout point of the waterfall.
I desperately wanted to hike down but it was too difficult with the kids.

Climbed up on some rocks.
This picture cracks me up because Brad tooted and you can see the boys calling him out on it.

Grant hooks one!

We set off to do the first mile of a hike until the kids BEGGED to do the entire loop.
They chanted "LOOP!  LOOP!  LOOP!" until we conceded.
First 2.5 miles went ok but Anna lost it after that.  The last 2 miles were a little painful.
But, it was beautiful and we had a blast.

We are planning to explore Arkansas more.  We loved it!

Little Rock

A couple of weeks ago, while a barrage of tornadoes were barreling through Oklahoma City, we headed out to a state park in Arkansas.  The same storm followed behind us and delayed our outdoor plans.  So, we headed to a children's museum in Little Rock.

Vacuum tubes and scarves.  Kids love it.

Only tornado I want to experience.

"Newscasters"

Alphabet Jungle

Lunch near farmers market in downtown Little Rock.

It ended up being a great little excursion!

Swell

My heart swells when I watch my parents play with my kids.
Here they are at the park in Texas across from their house.

Running for Congress

After her new haircut, Abby looks like a politician.

Abby Glenn for District 19!
