Swiss Dot, Part 2

I got Anna's picture taken in the yellow dress and gave it to my Grandma for Christmas.

Santa to T-Town

Our fabulous neighbors, the Parrish Family, invited us to their annual Christmas party.
Abby was very excited to see him.

Grant making his case to Santa for why he deserves so many things for Christmas.

Anna checking to make sure Santa has it right.

Parker still going along with things here.

Abby not scared of Santa at all.

Swiss Dot Dress

My Grandma made this dress for my aunt some 60 years ago.  There is a picture somewhere of her wearing it.  I need to get it.  I love to see this vintage dress on Anna.  Oh, to go back in time....

The Other Woman

Some wives check the collars on their husbands shirts for lipstick.

I check them for bbq sauce.

October? Whaaaat? When?

October seemed so much busier this year!
Then Halloween came and now it's November - crazy!
Here's some things we did to celebrate:

Anna loves to craft.
We spray painted this wreath and she hooked on all the spider rings.
She was really proud of this!!!

Trunk or Treat.  Cookie Walk.

Brad build this Sponge Toss and the YM painted it like Frankenstein.
Clayton goes after it here!

This is how Brad carves his pumpkin.

Ready to hit the neighborhood!

NC

A few weeks ago I was able to go visit my
friend Erin who recently moved to North Carolina.
It was fun to see a glimpse of her new life and
thought it was just a lovely place to live!

We stopped by the Duke campus and visited the gardens there.

We did a little shopping and saw John Edwards.
So hilarious.

Had to stop at Bojangles.
I just love saying that - Bojangles.
Mmm.  Them were good biscuits.

Stopped for pedis.

We drove out to the Outer Banks.
The Carolina coast is fantastic.
Never been to a lighthouse before and it was way cool.

Apparently lots of good fishing in those parts.

Some great memories!

Everyday

Here are some snaps from our everyday living.
Abby made a nest out of an abandoned suitcase and diapers.
She took her after school treat there everyday until I put it all away.
If she didn't smile like this she wouldn't have gotten away with it!

Parker and Grant have been really into their Tinker Toys of all things.
Some of those classic toys are worth keeping around.

All bathed, pajamafied and ready for bed.
But first, snuggles on the recliner.

Is this safe?
I found Abby keep this delicate balance to play a few tunes.
She even did "no hands" for a second or two!

Sometimes the everyday is the most spectacular.
