Happy Abby

Abby is just a happy baby.

She gives people huge smiles and just lights up the room.

We love her!

And so it begins!

Anna loved everything about going to preschool today.

The backpack.

The playground.

The lunchbox.

The shoes.

Day One Down

With one bus stop every square mile (thank you budget cuts), it was a nightmare. They seriously need to do something. We narrowly escaped a car wreck. Anywho...

Here come the boys!

They all said they had a great day!

Family Hug

Tonight after Brad gave the kids their annual school blessings, Grant called out for us all to come together and hug. A Family Hug. Like a group hug. Except he originated it himself. He's such a lover, that little guy.

I think he started a new tradition.

Mary

"Mom, I look like Mary!"

I reply, "Yes, you do Anna!"

(secretly praising myself for teaching her of Mary, Joseph, the Shepherds, and Baby Jesus)

Anna says, "You know 'Mary had a Little Lamb, Little Lamb....' "

Hmmmm. Almost. Not quite.

Kids will make a toy out of anything.

Especially if it distracts them from doing their schoolwork.

Phil and Heather came to visit with their two munchkins! We had such a fabulous time with them and only wished they could have stayed longer.

Here's a little snap of all the cousins together.

Anna spent much of the trip following around cousin Carter with a wet wipe and instructions to "hold still" while she wiped various things from his face and chin. Later on after an unsupervised bathroom visit Uncle Phil asked Carter, "Did you wipe?" Carter replied, "She did!" (pointing to Anna)

Eeeeew. Let's all go wash our hands!
